This Section includes individually mounted enclosed switches and circuit breakers used for the fol- <br />lowing: <br />SUMMARY <br />1. Service disconnecting means. <br />2. Feeder and branch-circuit protection. <br />3. Motor and equipment disconnecting means. <br />B. Related Sections include the following: <br />1. Division 16 Section "Wiring Devices" for attachment plugs, receptacles, and toggle switches <br />used for disconnecting means. <br />2. Product Data: For each type of switch, circuit breaker, accessory, and component indicated. In- <br />clude dimensions and manufacturers' technical data on features, performance, electrical characteris- <br />tics, ratings, and finishes. <br />SUBMITTALS <br />B. Shop Drawings: For each switch and circuit breaker, include the following: <br />a. Dimensioned plans, elevations, sections, and details. <br />b. Enclosure types and details for type 1. <br />c. Current and voltage ratings. <br />d. Short-circuit current rating. <br />e. UL listing for series rating of installed devices. <br />C. Maintenance Data: For enclosed switches and circuit breakers and for components to include in mainten- <br />ance manuals specified in Division 1. In addition to requirements specified in Division 1 Section "Clo- <br />seout Procedures," include the following: <br />1. Routine maintenance requirements for components. <br />2. Manufacturer's written instructions for testing and adjusting switches and circuit breakers.
