Main and Neutral Lugs: Mechanical type suitable for use with conductor material. <br />H. Equipment Ground Bus: Adequate for feeder and branch-circuit equipment ground conductors; <br />bonded to box. <br />I. Service Equipment Label: UL labeled for use as service equipment for panelboards with main <br />service disconnect where indicated on the electrical drawings. <br />J. Future Devices: Mounting brackets, bus connections, and necessary appurtenances required for <br />future installation of devices. <br />K. Isolated Equipment Ground Bus: Adequate for branch-circuit equipment ground conduc- <br />tors; insulated from box. <br />L. Feed-through Lugs: Mechanical type suitable for use with conductor material. Locate at <br />opposite end of bus from incoming lugs or main device. <br />2.3 <br />A. UL label indicating series-connected rating with integral or remote upstream devices. Include <br />size and type of upstream device allowable, branch devices allowable, and UL series-connected <br />short-circuit rating. <br />PANELBOARD SHORT-CIRCUIT RATING <br />2.4 <br />A. Branch Overcurrent Protective Devices: Bolt-on circuit breakers, replaceable without dis- <br />turbing adjacent units. (Plug-in breakers are not acceptable.) <br />LIGHTING AND APPLIANCE BRANCH-CIRCUIT PANELBOARDS <br />B. Doors: Front mounted with concealed hinges; secured with flush latch with tumbler lock; keyed <br />alike. <br />2.5 <br />A. Doors: Front mounted; secured with vault-type latch with tumbler lock; keyed alike. <br />DISTRIBUTION PANELBOARDS <br />B. Main Overcurrent Protective Devices: Circuit breaker. <br />C. Branch overcurrent protective devices shall be one of the following: <br />1. Circuit-Breakers: Bolt-on circuit breakers; plug-in circuit breakers where individual <br />positive-locking device requires mechanical release for removal. <br />2.6 <br />A. Molded-Case Circuit Breaker: NEMA AB 1, with interrupting capacity to meet available fault <br />currents. <br />OVERCURRENT PROTECTIVE DEVICES
