<br />01310 - 5/6 <br />Schedule must be revised when it is no longer useful as a status and control <br />mechanism as determined by the CITY. All changes must be coordinated with and <br />approved by the CITY. Contract Time (including all contracted milestones) cannot be <br />changed without a formal Change Order approved by the CITY. Each subsequent <br />accepted Revised Construction Contract Schedule will be numbered sequentially <br />higher by one (1), with the first revision being the Revision 1 Construction Contract <br />Schedule <br />C. When the time comes that Revision # Construction Contract Schedule is required, a <br />new revised Construction Contract Schedule will be submitted in accordance with <br />change procedures, for review and acceptance by the CITY. Construction Schedule <br />Revisions shall accurately reflect all approved Change Orders including the exact <br />duration and cost. It will be reviewed for constructability and conformance to the <br />requirements of the Contract Documents as amended by Change Orders. If the <br />schedule is not accepted and requires revisions, the CONTRACTOR will, within 10 <br />business days, revise this Initial Construction Schedule and resubmit it for review <br />and acceptance. Re-submittals shall use the same revision number followed by <br />letters as “A”, “B”, etc., as needed to distinguish the submittal as revised from the <br />previous... <br />2.05 SCHEDULE UPDATES: <br />A. A Schedule Update is submitted by the CONTRACTOR each month based upon the <br />current accepted revision of the Construction Contract Schedule. It will indicate <br />actual performed work and work forecast through project completion. The actual <br />schedule data shall record when work was performed. Forecast data will be <br />calculated by the schedule and indicate how the CONTRACTOR intends to complete <br />the remaining Work within Contract Time. The Schedule Update submittal will be in <br />the form explained above. <br />PART 3 - EXECUTION <br />3.01 MONTHLY UPDATE CYCLE: <br />A. Schedule Update Submittals are due monthly on the 28th day of the month with a <br />data date of the 27th and are to be attached to each Application for Payment. <br />3.02 CHANGES: <br />A. Within ten (10) days after a schedule problem is identified by either contractor or <br />CITY, or at any time the percentage of the dollar value for completed work is 10 <br />percent or more or less than the value of the scheduled work, the CONTRACTOR <br />shall submit a Construction Contract Schedule Revision that identifies the cause of <br />the Change and any actions required by the CONTRACTOR to recover the schedule <br />and complete the Work within Contract Time. The CONTRACTOR shall promptly <br />undertake appropriate action, at no additional cost to the CITY, to recover the <br />schedule whenever the current schedule shows that the CONTRACTOR did not or <br />can not achieve a milestone established in the Contract. <br />B. Appropriate recovery actions include, but are not limited to, assignment of additional <br />labor, subcontractors, equipment, shift or overtime work, expediting of submittal or <br />deliveries, or any combination of thereof. Overlapping of activities or sequencing <br />changes shall be deemed appropriate only if properly substantiated in the submittal.
