<br /> <br />01380 - 1/3 <br />SECTION 01380 CONSTRUCTION DIGITAL VIDEO AND PHOTOGRAPHS <br />PART 1 - GENERAL <br />1.01 SUMMARY: <br />This Section specifies administrative and procedural requirements for construction video and <br />photographs. <br />1.02 SUBMITTALS: <br />Submit prints as specified in SECTION 01300 - SUBMITTALS and in PART 3, this Section. <br />Submit electronic copies of all video and still photography footage to digital cd-rom media format <br />and/or other, generally accepted and approved, format on DVD. <br />Photographer shall submit 2 sample prints of the type and quality required during construction, <br />for review and acceptance by City. <br />Videographer shall submit two examples of prior work of the type and quality required during <br />performance of Work, for review and acceptance by City. <br />1.03 QUALITY ASSURANCE: <br />A. All photographs shall be taken and processed by a qualified and established <br />commercial photographer experienced in construction photography. <br />B. All photography shall be taken and processed by an established professional <br />Videographer experienced in the production of digital color audio/video <br />documentation for the construction industry. <br />PART 2 - PRODUCTS <br />2.01 PHOTOGRAPHIC REQUIREMENTS: Specified in PART 3, this Section. <br />PART 3 - EXECUTION <br />3.01 COLOR AUDIO VIDEO RECORDING OF CONSTRUCTION AREA: <br />A. Prior to beginning any construction, the Contractor shall prepare a color audio video <br />of all the areas to be affected by construction (HIGH Density, VHS format or Digital). <br />B. The audio video recording shall be done within the two-week period prior to <br />placement of materials or equipment on the construction area and furnished one <br />week prior to the start of construction. The audio video recording shall be done with <br />a City Representative present. <br />C. To preclude the possibility of tampering or editing in any manner, all video recordings <br />shall, by electronic means, generate and display continuously and simultaneously on <br />the screen digital information to include the date and time of recording. The time <br />information shall consist of hours, minutes and seconds, separated by colons (i.e., <br />10:35:18). <br />D. The video on cd-rom shall be direct from a live video source into video file, format <br />“mpeg-1” or other suitable format as approved by the owner. Conversion of tapes to <br />digital is not acceptable.
