Detailed Design and Construction Administration Services <br /> Scale: 3 Acres <br /> The goal of this Riverwalk and Plaza project was to create a multi-purpose, open space <br /> performance venue, city park and plaza. Named for Senator Mitch McConnell, the <br /> project has been instrumental in fostering a community spirit and an enhanced sense of <br /> pride and commitment to riverfront redevelopment along the Ohio River. As an anchor <br /> of downtown, the Plaza functions as a timeless outdoor amenity where people meet, <br /> gather and socialize playing host to music festivals, art shows, and celebratory public <br /> gatherings such as an annual barbecue event as well as serving more intimate daily use. <br /> The public has gained an open green space for play and relaxation while the City benefits <br /> economically from the regional draw of its programmed activities. <br /> EDSA provided full services for this project including master planning, schematic design, <br /> design development and construction administration. <br /> EDSA's Submittal for RFD No. 12-04-02 - 19 <br />
