<br /> In 1999,EDSA was selected to develop a master plan for the City of Parkland's last large activ' I
<br /> located at Pine Island Road and Trail's End. EDSA has been the prime design consultant I- t
<br /> all aspects of the project from conceptual master planning through construction docur, ,
<br /> construction administration for each phase. Through a needs-based assessment, EDF, ,:-
<br /> a
<br /> a master plan that included extensive interviews with City and league officials, prof
<br /> user survey, and research into trends in recreation. Upon completion of the mastF4r'
<br /> produced a phasing plan to be initiated over a five-year period.
<br /> EDSA prepared detailed design documents for Phase 1 and Phase 2, whicl
<br /> soccer fields, basketball courts, a community center, amphitheatre, restror .
<br /> lawn, fishing pier and boardwalk, trails, picnic pavilions, a native hammc
<br /> building, plazas, parking and all associated site hardscape. With Phase 7.'
<br /> City is working through Phase 3 which includes two major league be;:
<br /> league fields, playground, tennis center and wetland preserve.
