His responsibilities have typically included managing projects <br /> �nR w, m; throughout the planning and design process, from inception of planning through construction. <br /> •:��' <br /> K. <br /> z,: RELEVANT EXPERIENCE • <br /> Riverwalk Fort Lauderdale, Fort Lauderdale,Florida-The ultimate destination for the pedestrian in <br /> downtown Fort Lauderdale, Riverwalk is an animated urban waterfront, hosting a variety of pedestrian- <br /> oriented activity centers and scheduled events. Riverwalk encompasses one linear mile of frontage on the <br /> QUALIFICATIONS historic New River in downtown Fort Lauderdale, with 28 acres of open space. EDSA was responsible <br /> for the creation of the master plan, public consensus building, design guidelines, detailed design and <br /> Education construction related services. The Riverwalk concept was a catalyst for urban core development, taking <br /> State university of New York, advantage of the New River as a resource. <br /> Syracuse, Bachelor of Landscape Ritz-Carlton Fort Lauderdale, Fort Lauderdale, Florida-Opened in 2007, The Ritz Carlton is Ft. <br /> Architecture,cum laude, 1077 <br /> Lauderdale's highest ranked beachfront hotel. Providing commanding ocean views from condo and guest <br /> room terraces as well as from the 7th level pool garden. EDSA provided conceptual design, detailed <br /> design,and construction administration services,working closely with architects and structural engineers <br /> to achieve an intensely landscaped building podium,and developed an intensely landscaped oceanfront <br /> Registration urban streetscape patterned after EDSA's signature beachfront promenade design. <br /> Landscape Architect(Florida), <br /> 0507 17th Street Causeway Bridge, Fort Lauderdale, Florida - EDSA is the project landscape architect <br /> CLARB Cenifiod#7102 as well as a member of the post-design team. The firm's role includes participation in overall aesthetic <br /> oversight,public participation,and site planning issues.Mr.Dugan is currently serving as project manager. <br /> Museum of Discovery and Science, Fort Lauderdale,Florida- EDSA developed streetscapes and <br /> Affiliations outdoor educational spaces for the original construction of the Museum of Discovery and Science. The <br /> streetscape frontages continued the pattern established for the Arts and Sciences District that included <br /> Anrerican Society of Landscape the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. Outdoor educational spaces included a butterfly garden <br /> Architects and outdoor classroom set among large existing Live Oaks. Hardscape detailing in the gardens was <br /> specifically designed to promote longevity of the trees by protecting the massive root systems. <br /> UD Southeast Florida/Caribbean <br /> Executive Committee,2008-2009 Bank Atlantic Center, Sunrise,Florida-The BankAtlantic Center is home to the Florida Panthers NHL <br /> team and is the venue for many other events including boxing, indoor soccer, ice shows, concerts,and <br /> circuses.It features an elevated main lobby plaza,which is the focus of a Public Art program.It is situated <br /> Community Involvement on 130 acres and accommodates parking for up to 19,000 fans. EDSA provided landscape planning and <br /> Fort Lauderdale Riverwalk Trust played a central role in the county's Public Art and design Program.Services provided included all phases <br /> Board of Directors,2009-Present from initial concepts through construction observation, and consultation on maintenance of the facility. <br /> The BankAtlantic Center is the fastest such facility ever designed and constructed, spanning merely 26 <br /> Broward County Public Art and months from initial design to opening day. <br /> Design Steering Committee, <br /> 1906-97,2008-2010 Blockbuster Park, Broward County,Florida - EDSA master planned this proposed 3,000 acre mixed <br /> use entertainment city in South Florida in 1994. The massive program included baseball and hockey <br /> stadiums as twin focal points, linked by a sports entertainment village including ice facilities, Cineplex, <br /> virtual reality sport entertainment, and other attractions. Other primary program elements included a <br /> 15,000 seat amphitheatre,36 holes of golf, movie studios,business park,hotels,Olympic rowing venue, <br /> and residential development. EDSA managed a team of over 50 consulting firms during the master plan <br /> process. <br /> Seminole Casino, Coconut Creek, Florida - EDSA is currently participating in the master planned <br /> expansion of the Seminole Casino, including hotel, gaming, outdoor amenities, arrival sequence, and <br /> parking elements. Part of EDSA's focus is towards environmental art and LEED certification, exploring <br /> imaginative means to demonstrate management of water, power, and landscape elements within a <br /> powerful visual framework appropriate to a gaming environment. <br /> 40 - EDSA's Submittal for RFQ No. 12-04-02 <br />
