EDSA developed the concept and applied <br /> it to the Second Street Corridor which straddles the downtown's existing activity centers. The resulting <br /> S3 million restoration project spans 4.000 feet and 8 city blocks, addressing walking surfaces, interfaces <br /> with operating buildings, limited Right of Way space. future utilities, street tree planting, street lighting, <br /> furnishings. and detailing to support temporary traffic lane closures for pedestrian use during evenings <br /> and weekends. <br /> Ritz-Carlton Fort Lauderdale, Fort Lauderdale. Florida -Opened in 2007, The Ritz Carlton is Ft. <br /> Lauderdale's highest ranked beachfront hotel.Providing commanding ocean views from condo and guest <br /> room terraces as well as from the 7th level pool garden. EDSA provided conceptual design. detailed <br /> design,and construction administration services,working closely with architects and structural engineers <br /> to achieve an intensely landscaped building podium,and developed an intensely landscaped oceanfront <br /> urban streetscape patterned after EDSA's signature beachfront promenade design. <br /> Casa Marina, Key West. Florida -Originally designed for Henry M. Flagler in the 1920's, the historic <br /> Flagler Hotel has undergone extensive renovations.EDSA provided design renovations to the pools in the <br /> mid-1980's and is currently working with the Blackstone Group in the redesign of the main hotel entry, <br /> streetscape improvements and an amenity area that includes two new pools, spas and outdoor dining <br /> terraces. EDSA was able to provide a modern design that captured both the historic properties of the <br /> site as well as the symmetry of the building. <br /> Hyatt Regency Pier 66 Resort, Fort Lauderdale,Florida-EDSA originally designed a new amenity <br /> environment for the Hyatt Regency Pier 66 Resort and Spa in 1988.coinciding with the addition of 132 <br /> lanai rooms. In 2005,under new ownership by the Blackstone Group as an offering in the newly formed <br /> Luxury Resorts Flag, EDSA revisited the design. While keeping the 'good bones' of the original pools, <br /> EDSA reconfigured and updated the surrounding spaces to restore overgrown view corridors, infuse <br /> contemporary imagery, and amplify hospitality spaces. <br /> The Sails, Fort Lauderdale.Florida-Located in Fort Lauderdale along the 17th Street corridor east of <br /> the Intracoastal Watervay, the project will include one of the City's premier high-end hotels. In addition <br /> there will be retail development. multiple rooftop restaurants and amenity decks. dry boat storage. and <br /> the City's only direct deep water mega yacht slip access to the Atlantic Ocean.
