EDSA provided conceptual design. detailed design,and construction administration services,working closely with architects and structural engineers to achieve an intensely landscaped building podium,and developed an intensely landscaped oceanfront urban streetscape patterned after EDSA's signature beachfront promenade design. Casa Marina, Key West. Florida -Originally designed for Henry M. Flagler in the 1920's, the historic Flagler Hotel has undergone extensive renovations.EDSA provided design renovations to the pools in the mid-1980's and is currently working with the Blackstone Group in the redesign of the main hotel entry, streetscape improvements and an amenity area that includes two new pools, spas and outdoor dining terraces. EDSA was able to provide a modern design that captured both the historic properties of the site as well as the symmetry of the building. Hyatt Regency Pier 66 Resort, Fort Lauderdale,Florida-EDSA originally designed a new amenity environment for the Hyatt Regency Pier 66 Resort and Spa in 1988.coinciding with the addition of 132 lanai rooms. In 2005,under new ownership by the Blackstone Group as an offering in the newly formed Luxury Resorts Flag, EDSA revisited the design. While keeping the 'good bones' of the original pools, EDSA reconfigured and updated the surrounding spaces to restore overgrown view corridors, infuse contemporary imagery, and amplify hospitality spaces.
