Mr. Costoya has diligently
® designed, constructed and supervised through completion the first two of the Route's eight
® planned Plazas; namely: the "Freedom of Expression Plaza," located at Miami Dade College
(MDC) InterAmerican Campus, representing Article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human
® Rights, and the "Freedom from Discrimination Plaza," located at MDC North Campus,
• representing Article 2 of said Declaration.
• We are also proud and grateful to count on Architect Costoya's ongoing support. He is currently
• designing The Route to Human Rights Pavilion, which will be built at MDC North Campus. This
• landmark building will become the most important building of the Route. It will display over 20
pieces of art from local and international artists representing various articles of the Universal
® Declaration, while the Pavilion itself will represent Article 29, "I have duties to the Community."
• The Pavilion will be a place of education and art where MDC students and the community at
• large will meet to learn or deepen their knowledge of the principles of equality, dignity and
® respect for all that the Universal Declaration proclaims and ISHR is devoted to promote.
• Finally, ISHR hereby, strongly recommend Mr. Costoya as an extraordinary professional, and as
an unique human being committed to his family, friends and the community.
® If more information is required, please don't hesitate in contacting me.
• Truly Yours,
•
•
• Elizabeth San hez VT
® President
International Solidarity for Human Rights
O (786) 301-3019
•
O Guinness World Records® Holder
O International Solidarity for Human Rights
O 12555 Biscayne Blvd. #974 North Miami.
