The Center is the first FEED Gold <br />certiTlea museum in tsroward county, Florida and has won <br />awards trom USGBC tur -outstanding LEED-19L; (19ew <br />construt,tiun) -- Public" category as well as the "Outstandi, ,g <br />LEELA9U — Uveralf' Tor 2012, a the Town of Davie award Tor <br />'Greening Your Scene". <br />Curtis + Rogers provided the landscape and irrigation design <br />services tur this project, as well as the LEED duuumentatiun <br />for relevant credits. The landscape design includes unusual <br />circular berms, and an extensive selection OT unusual and <br />exotic trees to stimulate and educate the children. <br />Curtis T Rugurs developed educational TlyerS Tor the visitors to <br />the museum that take them on a treasure hunt to tind the trees, <br />and iacntity their unique qualities.
