We will work with the FOOT to <br />replace the standing water with a temporazy solution until the pump station is operational. <br /> <br />TASK 2 - FINAL DESIGN PLANS <br /> <br />Upon the City's approval of the Design Report and the pumping system, CWI will finalize the design <br />plans from the conceptual report developed in Task 1 above. This task will include development offinal <br />construction plans, pmnp station location plans, drainage collection system modifications. drainage well <br />details, detail sheets, electrical plans, drainage calculations and any other criteria along with the <br />specifications for construction. The plans will be prepared in 11 "x 17" fonnat similar to mOT, at a scale <br />, which is legible for printing. Under this task, final plans and technical specifications will be prepared fur <br />the City's review. The City will provide the Ufront end" con1ract documents to CWI to be included in the <br />bidding documents. <br /> <br />It is anticipated that the storm water pump station will be located under the Sunny Isles bridge and therefore <br />no architectural plans are included in this project If architectural plans are required., eWI will be pleased <br />to work with any architect already under contract to the City. If preferred, we will provide a separate price <br />quotation for this work, if needed. <br /> <br />TASK 3 - PERMIT PROCESSING <br /> <br />Under.this task, CWI will process the drainage design. Based on past experience, the permitting will <br />include a preliminaty dry-run application and :final application from Miami-Dade County Department of <br />Environmental Management (DERM), a drainage well pennit from the Department of Environmental <br />Protection (DEP), an FDOT Special Permit for the modifications and connection to the existing FDOT <br />systems, and approval by the City for City w~rk. The drainage permitting usually is a very lengthy process <br />which can take several months to complete. This process will be started as early as possible in order to <br />complete the drainage system in a timely manner. <br /> <br />;" <br />TASK 4 - CONSTRUCTION OBSERVATION <br /> <br />Under this task, CWI will assist the City with bidding the proposed drainage project, reviewing the <br />contractors' bids ~d provide the City with a recommendation to award. In addition, CWI will assist the <br />City with coD81ruction observation based on weekly visits to the site, review of contractor's questions and <br />pay requestB. In additioDl eWI will perform a final job site visit, develop a punch list for the contractor <br />and perfonn a final project closeout inspection. This worle will be performed on an hourly basis and billed <br />at the hourly rates shown below.
