Mr. Christopher J. Russo City Manager 2 6. prepare a preliminary action plan to achieve the City's redevelopment objectives including necessary steps and order of magnitude costs of implementation; and 7. prepare a "due diligence" report incorporating all of the work that has been completed in a duplication-ready format. We propose to perform this due diligence effort for a fixed fee of fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000.00), plus reasonable out-of-pocket expenses for copying, printing and other production costs. In addition, we would like to reserve an opportunity to request up to an additional three thousand dollars ($3,000.00) for a specific subject market data survey if we are not satisfied with the information that the City has available. Weare prepared to commence work immediately and expect that the work could be completed within forty-five (45) days of your direction to proceed. We propose that our fee be paid in two (2) installments of seven thousand five hundred dollars ($7,500.00) each, with the first installment due upon completion of fifty percent (50%) of the work and the second payment, plus qualifYing expenses, upon the delivery ofthe due diligence report to the City. In anticipation of proceeding, we have identified a number of documents which we would like to obtain from the City: 1. Any correspondence with the County in regard to the possible formation of a CRA. 2. Ad valorem property tax assessment data for the study area, including property ownership. 3. Aerial photography in the possession of the City, planar or oblique views. 4. City's Annual Budget. 5. A list of key individuals who should be interviewed. 6. A color copy of the City's logo. 7. A description of code enforcement activity in the Study Area. 8. Data in regard to traffic accidents at the intersection of Sunny Isles Boulevard and Collins A venue, as well as any available crime data for the Study Area.
