The City is exempt from Florida sales tax on direct purchases of tangible property. 1.2 PURPOSE OF BID! The City of Aventura intends to secure a source of supply (s) at the lowest responsive and responsible price. The City reserves the right to award the bid considered to best serve the City's Interests. 1.3 Any questions concerning the bid specifications or any required need for clarification should be made at least five (6) days prior to the date of the bid opening. No pies of ignorance or delay or required need of additional information shall exempt a bidder from submitting his bid on the required date and time as publicly noted. 1.4 Bidder warrants that the prices, terms and conditions quoted in the bid will be firm for a period of 366 days from, the date of the bid opening unless otherwise stated by the bidder.
