<br />A PROPOSAL TO THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH: Public Safety Master Planning <br />"'.". PROJECT APPROACH <br /> <br />We will develop the Police Master Plan including a Dispatch Element, a Disaster Response <br />Plan, a Police Policy Manual, and provide CALEA accreditation technical assistance and <br />help prepare written directives relative to the standards in eight (8) distinct but interrelated <br />phases: data collection; interviews with key city and business officials; on-site observations <br />in the job environment; analysis of data; comparative analysis; alternatives and <br />recommendations; submission of a well-documented plan/manual/directive; and, oral <br />briefings. The policies relative to CALEA accreditation and a manual would be provided to <br />the department for approval. <br /> <br />Phase I: Data Collection <br /> <br />In this phase, we will collect data relating to the City of Sunny Isles Beach, including the <br />police department, relative to growth, law enforcement services, workload, and staffing.
