<br />A PROPOSAL TO THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH: Public Safety Master Planning <br /> <br />· training <br />· crime analysis reports <br />· crime prevention/education brochures and publications <br />· annual reports for all the past years <br />· mutual aid plans and agreements <br />· all plans related to emergency services <br />· community policing <br />· job descriptions <br />· citizen and internal complaint procedures <br />· compensation schedules <br />· public safety resources (police, fire, EMS) <br />· medical facilities <br /> <br />Phase II: Interviews <br /> <br />,--. <br /> <br />During this phase, we will interview key personnel in Sunny Isles Beach, including the City <br />Manager, the Mayor and other members of the Commission, members of the Finance <br />Committee, Human Resources director, Police Chief, police lieutenants, police sergeants, <br />police corporals, detectives, officers, dispatchers, clerical, area law enforcement officials, <br />area fire/EMS officials, and area medical professionals. <br /> <br />In addition, we would like. to interview a number of stakeholders: residents. business <br />officials. developers. and civic group representatives. We believe input from those receiving <br />the services and paying for emergency services should be afforded maximum opportunity to <br />provide input relative to the current system and the future expectations and needs of the <br />police department and the City of Sunny Isles Beach. <br /> <br />Phase III: On-site Observations and Fact-findin& <br /> <br />In this phase, we will conduct on-site observations of police personnel in the workplace.
