A PROPOSAL TO THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH: Public Safety Master Planning While there are some common indicators of organization and staffing requirements, we recognize that each municipality has its own distinct characteristics and environment that must be considered in assessing service delivery and considering alternatives. Additionally, Carroll Buracker & Associates, Inc. will be in contact with City officials and Project Team members throughout the project to assure communication and gain the necessary concurrence with our conclusions before finalizing the plans, policy manual, and CALEA standards. Phase VII: Comprehensive Written Plans/Manual/CALEA Standards During this phase, we will provide the City of Sunny Isles beach with well-documented plans, manual, and directives related to CALEA standards. The plans will contain an implementation timetable anchored to recommendations and associated costs and/or savings to each. We will present data in easy-to-read graphic charts, as well as table formats. Our firm has extensive experience in the presentation of data for management decisions and public understanding. Phase VIII: Oral Briefin& Once the plans, manual and policies related to the CALEA standards are completed, we will provide an oral briefing to City Officials. Our staff has considerable experience in briefings of this nature. Project Time Line Figure 2 represents CBI's best judgement for a time line to complete the outlined tasks. A final time line will, of course, be arranged to best suit the needs of the City of Sunny Isles Beach and law enforcement officials. It is anticipated that the Police Master Plan, including the Dispatch Element, and the Disaster Response Plan will be completed within four months.
