(a) No person shall serve as Chairperson of more than two (2) Committees. (b) No person shall serve on more than two (2) Committees. (c) Should any appointee resign during the term of the Committee, the appointing Commissioner may select another appointee. (d) Members shall be appointed to serve for a one year term, but that term may be renewed as often as desirable provided however, if the appointing Commissioner is not re-elected or that Commissioner resigns, the newly seated Commissioner has the option to discharge the appointee and select a new appointee or return the prior appointee. Section 4. Annual Reporting Requirements. The Committee shall provide the City Commission with a written or oral report regarding the activities of the Committee within one (1) year from the creation of a Committee. Section 5. Termination of Committees. The City Commission has the authority to create and/or terminate any Committee at anytime. Section 6. Rules of Procedure. Each Committee created under this resolution shall be governed by the Rules of Procedure that govern the City Commission, and subject to Florida Sunshine and Public Records Law. Section 7. Repealer. All previously approved committees are hereby dissolved. Section 8. Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon adoption and the Committees shall be approved at the next regularly scheduled meeting.
