Record all <br />as -built information using block lettering or typed text to ensure legibility. Signing and <br />pavement marking plan sheets may be used instead of signalization plan sheets, if a <br />substantial number of changes from the original signalization plans must be recorded. If, in <br />the opinion of the Engineer, the changes can not be clearly delineated on reproductions of <br />the original 11 by 17 inch sheets, clearly delineate all changes on 11 x 17 inch detail <br />sheets, enlarged 200% from the reproductions. Make any corrections resulting from the <br />Engineer's review, and resubmit three sets of the completed as -built plans as a condition <br />precedent to acceptance of the installation. <br />620 SIGNAL INSTALLATION GROUNDING. <br />(REV 7- 12 -01) (FA 1 -3 -02) (1 -04) <br />SUBARTICLE 620 -3.1 (Page 685). The first paragraph is deleted and the following <br />substituted: <br />620 -3.1 General: Meet all local electrical codes which exceed these Specifications. <br />Install all grounding conductors, which bond grounding electrode assemblies, 18 inches <br />[450 mm] below finished grade. Accomplish grounding for any element of a traffic signal <br />installation by installing either a grounding electrode assembly or a grounding electrode <br />array, unless otherwise specified in the Contract Documents. <br />Use solid No. 6 AWG copper insulated (green) conductor for electrical or <br />lightning protection ground from the system ground bus or barrier plate(s) to the grounding <br />electrodes and from grounding electrode to grounding electrode.
