<br />Mr. Doug Haag <br />March 18, 2008 <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />II) Contract Documents <br />A) Prepare an Existing Tree Inventory and Disposition Plan that determines <br />species, size, condition and disposition of existing vegetation. This <br />existing tree inventory will be used in completing the requirements for the <br />tree removal/relocation as set forth by the City of Sunny Isles Beach and <br />Miami-Dade County DERM. <br />B) Prepare detailed Landscape Plan that defines the location, variety, size, <br />quality, and quantity of all proposed vegetation. This will include a 60% <br />and 90% submittal to the Owner for review and approval. <br />C) Prepare Site Furnishings Plan that depicts locations and specifications of <br />proposed benches and trash receptacles. <br />D) Prepare Layout Plan of paving fields and ground level planters for <br />pedestrian sidewalk areas with specifications including paver type, pattern <br />and color. <br />E) Prepare a detailed Irrigation Plan. <br />F) Prepare technical specifications suitable for bidding. <br />G) Prepare a Schematic Landscape Lighting Plan indicating location and <br />type of fixtures with detai Is and cut sheets. The Landscape Lighting Plan <br />will be prepared in order to accentuate any proposed landscape <br />improvements. <br />1-1) Prepare Maintenance Agreement between FDOT and the City of Sunny <br />Isles Beach. <br />I) Prepare Maintenance Plan as required by FOOT. <br />J) Attend working meetings with the City representatives, as required. <br /> <br />III) Bidding and Permitting <br />A) Attendance at pre-bid conference. <br />B) Respond to bidder inquires and prepare addenda in response to RFI's <br />raised during the bidding phase. <br />C) Assist in obtaining permits from FDOT and other maintaining agencies. <br />D) Attend up to (2) meetings with the permitting agencies in order to resolve <br />issues in relation to obtaining a permit. <br /> <br />IV) Project Management <br />A) Coordinate the services of sub-consultants and manage overall project. <br /> <br />Contract Duration <br />The anticipated contract duration for these services is approximately 6 months from <br />the notice to proceed. <br /> <br />Subconsultants <br />Subconsultants included for these design services are as follows: <br />a) Alvarez Engineers, Inc. - PM: Juan Alvarez, PE <br />b) Aylward Engineering & Surveying - PM: Sharon Aylward Cox, PE <br /> <br />The scope of work for their respective design services is included in Attachment I and <br />2 of this proposal. <br /> <br />-' I ' <br />- IU <br />...., <br />
