<br />City of Sunny Isles Beach | Invitation to Bid No. 16-08-02 15 <br /> <br />SECTION 3 <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br />3.1 SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br />It is the intent of this Invitation to Bid to select a qualified vendor to provide various event ride <br />rentals and event activities or entertainment on a temporary basis for the City’s special events, <br />programs, or other events, as they arise. Prompt and timely delivery/set up and tear down are <br />required as well as cooperation with City staff. <br />The vendor shall provide all labor, transportation, equipment, and materials for the delivery, proper <br />set up and take down, and removal of all rented equipment. Vendor shall supply their own power <br />needs. This equipment shall be utilized for the City sponsored events to be located in the designated <br />locations. <br />3.2 EQUIPMENT <br /> <br />Installation location varies based on event. Surfaces include, but are not limited to, artificial turf, <br />grass, and streets. Stakes are not permitted under any circumstances. It shall be the responsibility <br />of the vendor to deliver the equipment in a good, clean condition and to maintain and repair any <br />damages to the equipment during the rental period. Broken, damaged or equipment delivered in <br />poor condition will not be accepted by the City. Replacement equipment must be delivered within <br />two (2) hours. <br />3.3 COMPANY REPRESENTATIVE <br /> <br />There must be an agent or supervisor on call who can be reached by phone in case equipment <br />problems arise after delivery and afterhours. Supervisor or agent must respond within fifteen (15) <br />minutes of initial call and corrections made or replacement of equipment delivered within two (2) <br />hours of initial call. Time of delivery, installation, and pick up must be coordinated through <br />assigned City staff. Delivery, installation, and pickup of all items must be supervised by City staff. <br /> <br />END OF SECTION <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
