Proposed Personnel/Qualifications and Experience <br /> <br />The Zyscovich team has a long and successful history of working with municipalities. We understand the requirements <br />for timely performance, clear communications and standard procedures. Our team is highly experienced in all aspects <br />of planning, feasibility studies, due diligence reviews, design, the production of a set of biddable and buildable plans <br />and specifications, bid documents, construction inspection and construction services. <br /> <br /> <br />Suria Yaffar, Assoc. AlA, LEED@ AP Director of Design <br /> <br />Suria Yaffar is a firm principal and the Director of Design for Zyscovich Architects. Ms. Yaffar <br />has extensive experience working with public sector clients and is experienced in all phases of <br />the architectural design process, including site planning, strategic planning/programming, site <br />feasibility studies, master planning, and architectural design of multiple building types. <br /> <br />Ms. Yaffar is experienced in all phases of the planning process including community outreach, <br />consensus building, strategic planning and urban design for downtowns, as well as all phases of <br />land development. <br /> <br />Over the past 20 years, Ms. Yaffar has designed a wide-range of building types for municipalities <br />and public entities including continuing services for the Cities of Miami, Miami Beach, West <br />Palm Beach, Ft. Lauderdale, Coconut Creek, and Hollywood. Some of Ms. Yaffar's recent <br />public projects include services provided to the Miami Dade County Parks and Recreation <br />Department for Recommendations for LEED@ Silver Compliance and to Miami Dade County <br />for the Renovations to the Coconut Grove Library. Ms. Yaffar's portfolio also includes the <br />architectural design of the Little Haiti Performing Arts Center, Community Center and Soccer <br />Park in Miami, a project from the City of Miami's Continuing Contract, and for a number of other <br />projects for the City of Miami's Continuing Contract including the Gibson Park Design Criteria <br />and Concept Plan and the Arthur E. Teele Community Center.
