BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT (Include scope, size, and cost) <br />CPH has been providing services to the City for Winter Springs on an ongoing basis since 1974. The team has worked on a variety of <br />projects that include: Civil, architecture, landscape architecture, environmental, surveying, traffic/transportation, and construction <br />management. Projects performed for the City range from small to medium sized projects, including: <br /> <br />Winter Springs Reclaimed Water Improvements - The project involved preliminary and final design and construction for the <br />expansion of the distribution system into residential neighborhoods and to a golf course and percolation ponds. The expansion <br />consisted of 5,750 LF of 8" reclaimed water main, 600 LF of 6" main and 2,500 LF of 4" main. <br /> <br />Town Center Roadway Improvements - This project involved the engineering services for the design of the new Hickory Grove Park <br />Road and the reconstruction of Tuskawilla Road for the City of Winter Springs Town Center Project. The work included the relocation <br />and installation of approximately 1,850 LF of 12-inch and 200 LF of 8-inch water main and 4,960 LF of 8" gravity sewer. <br /> <br />Fisher Road Roadway Improvements - The Project consists of the paving, grading and installation of a drainage system on an <br />existing dirt road to improve the conditions within Fisher Road, Arnold Lane and Trade Winds Road. Work included paving of <br />approximately 4,350 lineal feet of dirt roads, excavation/grading of roadside swales and relocations of roadside improvements to <br />accommodate the construction of this project. <br /> <br />Winter Springs East Lift Station Analysis - This project was performed to determine the best way to divert the flow from 5 lift stations <br />from the gravity system where it experienced long detention times using a WaterCAD model. Various runs of the <br />model were performed to optimize routing. <br /> <br />Magnolia Square - CPH Services included the design of the streetscape, fountain, hardscape, furniture selection, <br />landscape, irrigation and CEI services. The fountain was developed as a focal element from both Tuskawilla and <br />Blumberg Avenue. Pavers were used to identify pedestrian crossings and different patterns were selected for <br />visual interest along the sidewalks and around the fountain. <br /> <br />Town Center Trail - The Winter Springs Town Center Trail is a pedestrian trail that will connect the cross State <br />Trail with the Winter Springs Town Center. The twelve foot trail is centered in the Blumberg Avenue median and <br />terminates at the magnolia square fountain. The trail was designed as a walk through a French Provincial <br />Garden. <br /> <br />... <br />RIM <br />~ <br />- <br />~ <br />- <br /> <br />Market Square - Market Square welcomes visitors into the Winter Springs Town Center and is a main entrance to <br />the City. CPH designed the fountain and the surrounding parcel terrace to be the focal element and gathering <br />place for the square. Site furnishings were selected to be both durable and aesthetically pleasing. CPH Services <br />Included: Park Plan, Hardscape, Planting Plan, Irrigation Plan, and Furniture Selection. <br /> <br />25.
