<br />Assistant Finance Director. As part of the evaluation process, the Committee shortlisted the six <br />proposals to three firms of which two were interviewed on August 5, 2010. <br /> <br />After the interviews were concluded and based on the evaluation criteria as outlined in the RFP, <br />the Committee ranked the firms in order of preference (listed below) as to the most highly <br />qualified to perform the required services. Please note that the compensation of audit fees <br />including financial statement preparation is between $37,500 and $57,000 for the first year and <br />the Federal/State Single Audits range between $2,500 and $16,000 each. <br /> <br />Committee's Ranking of Audit Firms in order of preference (with 1 being the most qualified)' <br /> <br />1. Assuming adoption of the attached Resolution by the Commission, staff shall <br />negotiate a contract with the firm ranked first. If staff is unable to negotiate a satisfactory <br />contract with that firm, negotiations with that firm shall be formally terminated, and staff shall <br />then undertake negotiations with the second-ranked firm. If the staff is unable to negotiate a <br />satisfactory contract with that firm, negotiations with that firm shall be formally terminated and <br />staff will undertake negotiations with the third-ranked firm. If the staff is unable to negotiate a <br />satisfactory contract with that firm, negotiations with that firm shall be formally terminated and <br />staff can reopen negotiations with the other firm.
