Miami, FI <br />Client: Florida Department of Transportation, District 6 <br />Description of work: Sunny Isles Blvd. from US 1 to NE 35 Avenue (Oleta State Park) Sunny Isles Blvd. <br />is one of the Main Arterials to Miami Beach. The 8-lane divided roadway <br />includes a two lane frontage road. This project included milling and resurfacing, <br />and the redesign of the typical section to include Bike Lanes. This project also <br />included the upgrading of the pedestrian ramps at the traffic signals. Roadway, <br />Signing, Marking, and Signalization Plans were prepared. <br />Const. Cost: $ 2,700,000 Fees: $240,000. This project included Innovative Drainage <br />Design, Contract Document Production for Milling, Resurfacing, and Striping ofthis three-lane undivided <br />industrial roadway. This roadway experienced heavy silting deposits from the nearby concrete plant. These <br />deposits clogged the existing drainage system.
