<br />Base, Housing Privatization Project, U.S. Air Force,
<br />Hanscom Field, Middlesex County, MA, 01/2005-
<br />12/2005. This project involves the demolition and
<br />reconstruction of housing at Hanscom Field for military
<br />personnel. Borings wcre pcrformed within thc four
<br />neighborhoods to pro,'ide information for design of
<br />housing, roads, and community-usc structurcs. :\
<br />geotechnical report was preparcd summarizing the
<br />findings and presenting foundation recommendations.

<br />Maintenance Facility, 02053, Massachusetts Bay
<br />Transportation Authority, Southampton Street,
<br />Boston, Massachusetts, 01/2000 - 10/2003. t-,[s.
<br />t-,IcCoy was responsible for planning and (werseeing the
<br />subsurface im'estigation program. Borings and
<br />laboratory test \"ere performed and Ms. l\IcCoy
<br />produced the geotechnical investigatioll and foulldation
<br />recommendation report. Deep foundations \vere
<br />selected and designed to support the bus garage,
<br />maintenance facility, buswash and fueling buildings. t-,[s.
<br />i\IcCoy produced the contract specifications dealing with
<br />dri,'en piles and O\'ersaw the required pile load tests and
<br />re\'iewed contractor submittals. [\pproximately 700,
<br />l2x53 H-piles \vere installed to a depth of 85 feet \vith a
<br />50 ton design load.

<br />Geotechnical Engineer, Independent Spent Fuel
<br />Installation, Nuclear Management Company,
<br />Duane Arnold Energy Center, Palo, Iowa, 04/2001 -
<br />07/2002. i\ls. i\IcCoy assisted in the subsurface
<br />exploration and construction document preparation for
<br />an independent spent fuel installation at the Duane
<br />[\mold nuclcar powcr plant located in Palo, Iowa.
<br />Specifications for borings, laboratory testing, and
<br />geophysical testing was prepared by her. Ms. tvIcCoy
<br />oversaw the borings drilled for this project and prepared
<br />
<br />the final boring logs. tv[s. l\IcCoy prepared bearing
<br />capacity calculations and assisted in the preparation of
<br />the Geotechnical Report. i\[s. i\IcCoy assisted the client
<br />at thc site in thc ovcrsight of excavation and backfill
<br />placement for the [SFSl construction.

<br />Cogeneration Facility, KeySpan Energy, Long
<br />Island City, Queens, NY, 11/2000 - 06/2002. i\[s.
<br />McCoy was assigned as the Lead Geotechnical Engineer
<br />for the proposed 250 tv[\\/ Ravenswood Cogeneration
<br />Facility located at the existing KeySpan Energy
<br />Ravcnswood Facility in Long Island City, NY. r.Is.
<br />~..rcCoy planned and O\Trsaw the subsurface
<br />investigation program and directed the appropriate
<br />laboratory testing (performed by others). She revicwed
<br />and appr()\'ed the subsurface im'estigation report
<br />prcpared by others and used as the basis for foundation
<br />design and construction. l\[S. r.IcCoy directed and
<br />participated in the preparation of calculations, design
<br />critcria and construction specifications for this project.
<br />Approximately 300 drilled piers \vith diameters of 2, -1-
<br />and 5 ft \"ere drilled and socketed into bedrock for
<br />foundation support.

<br />12/1996. t\[s. McCoy was rcsponsible for the technical
<br />aspects of the project team's work as Area Geotechnical
<br />Consultant, Area 05 (North Area) of the Central
<br />Artery/Tunnel Projcct in Boston, MA. This project
<br />invoked proposcd tunnel, at-grade, embankment, and
<br />\.iaduct structurcs and utility relocations \vithin an urban
<br />setting and major rail transportation corridor. t\[s.
<br />t\IcCoy's duties included participation and presentation
<br />at project progress and technical meetings, and input to
<br />progress reports, project documents, and technical
<br />reports. She performed or directed the preparation of
<br />project calculations for development of geotechnical
<br />design recommendations and design criteria and was
<br />responsible for the DO 19E Data and Enginccring
<br />Reports. t\[s. tvIcCoy also consulted and assisted with
<br />similar work for the adjacent design sections DO 190 and
<br />DOI9B.
