BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT (Include scope, size, and cost)

Program Overview

Shaw has a contract for the operation and maintenance of two sequential batch reactor type wastewater treatment plants for the
Department of Solid Waste Management. The system uses a modified sequencing batch reactor (SBR) process technology.
The purpose of the SBR is to treat leachate recovered from the landfill and reduce contaminant concentrations to below permit
and wastewater treatment facility influent standards. The SBR was designed to treat a maximum concentration of 764 mg/I of
ammonia at a permitted flow of 320,000 gallons per day.

Shaw's contract is valued at $4,512,247.00 for the 5-year term. The service requirements include the operation and maintenance
of extraction wells and injection wells associated with groundwater. Services also include monitoring and maintenance of the
stormwater system structure, such as the injection wells, which are intimately related to the groundwater.

Shaw provides all employees, vehicles, material, administrative design, and operational services required to staff and operate the
facilities as required by the operating permits. Shaw's facility operator holds a Class "A" certification and license for wastewater
treatment plant operators as listed in Chapter 62.602 of the Florida Administrative Code.

a.

1 FIRM NAME
Shaw Environmental, Inc.

25.
