Da\'idson was the Project Engineer for
the structural inspection of the historic Longfellow
Bridge, which spans the Charles Rinr betwccn Boston
and Cambridge, l\Iassachusetts. He performed the
rating of the French King Bridge, w'hich carries Routc 2
m'er the Connecticut Ri\'er. He supervised and
participated in the design of 26 city roads and ramp
bridges associated with the DU09C contract of the
Central Artery Project. [n addition, l\lr. Davidson
directed the preliminary structural engineering associated
with the proposed transitway between Sleeper Street and
the \\'orld Trade Center in South Boston. Hc was the
lead structural/bridge engineer for the design of 12
railroad bridges and trestles on a 26-mile railroad spur in
Texas.
