BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT (Include scope, size, and cost) As part of the renaissance taking place along the Miami River, this 11-acre site will be home to six 54-story towers with 3,000 luxury condominiums and more than 100,000 square feet of retail space, all connected by pedestrian plazas and covered arcades. The plans call for ten water features and more than 1,000 linear feet of riverfront improvements, which were guided by the Greenway Regulatory Enhancement Program prepared by Kimley-Horn's Urban Resource Group and adopted by the City of Miami. Upon the successful preparation and approval of the River Front MUSP (Major Use Special Project) documents, Kimley-Horn, with its Urban Resource Group division, was retained to prepare the urban design and construction documents for the entire site. Each of the six high-rise residential towers will have a 10th floor pool amenity deck, and URG has also been retained to design several of those. Additional aesthetic focus was placed on a project-wide master graphics package and wayfinding system, enhanced traffic-calming vehicular plazas, and imported European street furniture, and pedestrian lighting. A series of water features will begin at the SW 3rd Street project entry, continue through the center of the main street, and culminate in a series of cascades at the river's edge. There, the new Riverwalk will connect with the existing improvements of adjacent properties. Cost: $6 million (not including towers). - ~ -,_. J r __I 25.
