y Start Up of the Project
· Initially, a clear understanding of the assignment is established, This includes the scope of work, schedules
and budget.
· In this case, we select an individual as required to perform each task,
· Time is scheduled to retrieve applicable construction documents and visit the site.
· Finally, applicable schedules and cost estimates are established,

y Site Investigation & Existing Conditions
· Architects International, Inc. strongly believes that the initial site investigation is extremely important for
the success of the project. With the construction documents in hand, our personnel will verify existing
dimensions, conditions and materials, In addition, it is standard practice for our team members to
photograph the site and in some cases videotape the existing conditions, At this time, any hazardous
material testing would take place,
· Criteria addressed includes code compliance, life safety, design interface, useful life of
Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing/Communication system equipment, energy efficiency and future
requirements,
· A complete code analysis is performed, Coordination with the SIB and any other agency involved, etc, is
determined,
· A preliminary report will be generated from the information gathered during the site investigation and
design analysis. The preliminary report delineates the existing conditions and design solutions including
alternatives, schematic layouts, cost estimates, etc, Architects International, Inc, strongly believes that a
well executed site investigation and preliminary report establishes the basis for a smooth transition into
schematic design, design development and construction documents,

y Meeting Schedules
· Architects International, Inc. always strives to deliver a project on time. We understand that timing is
critical; Mr, Crespi's years of experience allows Architects International, Inc. to generate a schedule
that is concise and realistic for each project. A computerized schedule system specifies completion dates
for the various phases and elements of work, Elements of work include site investigation, design
calculations, drawing preparation, specifications, cost estimates, value engineering, submittals for design
review and approval. The schedule is reviewed by Mr, Crespi, AlA the project manager bi-weekly so that
additional staff can be allocated to meet project commitment dates,

y Budget Cost Control
· Architects International, Inco's team objective is to complete your project within the established budget
and deliver the facility design or study on time, During the design process, cost estimates will be measured
against budget allocations, The project team will review estimates and reconcile this information with the
planned budget. Architects International, Inc. has a reputation for consistently having construction bids
that are within a few percentage points of the original estimate,
