CALL TO ORDER / ROLL CALL OF MEMBERS <br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor Edelcup at 6:00 p.m. with the following officials <br />present: <br /> <br />Mayor Norman S. Edelcup <br />Vice Mayor Lewis J. Thaler <br />Commissioner Roslyn Brezin <br />Commissioner Gerry Goodman <br />Commissioner George "Bud" Scholl <br /> <br />City Manager Rick Conner <br />City Attorney Hans Ottinot <br />Assistant City Manager/Services Jorge Vera <br />City Clerk Jane A. Hines, CMC <br />Assistant City Attorney Fernando Amuchastegui <br /> <br />2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE / INVOCATION <br />Action: Members of the Student Council from the Sunny Isles Beach Community School led <br />the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag, and City Historian Richard C. Schulman gave the <br />invocation. <br /> <br />Mayor Edelcup gave opening remarks of decorum. Bob Welsh introduced Dina Adler and <br />Jeff Stanaford, the Faculty Advisors from the Sunny Isles Beach Community School who <br />introduced each member of the Student Council. <br /> <br />3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />3A. Special City Commission Meeting - September 2, 2010. <br />Action: Commissioner Scholl moved and Vice Mayor Thaler seconded a motion to approve <br />the above-mentioned Summary Minutes. The motion was approved by a voice vote of 5- <br />o in favor. <br /> <br />3B. Special City Commission Meeting/l 51 Budget Hearing FY 2010/2011 - Sept. 14, 2010. <br />Action: Vice Mayor Thaler moved and Commissioner Scholl seconded a motion to approve <br />the above-mentioned Summary Minutes. The motion was approved by a voice vote of 5- <br />o in favor. <br /> <br />3C. Regular City Commission Meeting - September 16,2010. <br />Action: Commissioner Brezin moved and Vice Mayor Thaler seconded a motion to approve <br />the above-mentioned Summary Minutes. The motion was approved by a voice vote of 5- <br />o in favor. <br /> <br />3D. Special City Commission Meeting/2nd Budget Hearing FY 2010/2011 - Sept. 28, 2010. <br />Action: Commissioner Goodman moved and Commissioner Scholl seconded a motion to <br />approve the above-mentioned Summary Minutes. The motion was approved by a voice <br />vote of 5-0 in favor. <br />
