3.05 WATERING <br />1 3.06 <br />A. Contractor shall responsible h manual watering relocated <br />pla t materials by providing a90 -dayw ter ng program, untilthey are <br />established. <br />B. Following tree spading and /or relocation, trees and palms designated <br />for transplanting shall be watered twice a day for the first two weeks, <br />every two days for the third week to the sixth week following the <br />installed date, every third day for the remainder of the 90 day period, <br />completely saturating the root ball for a period of thirty consecutive <br />days following moving. Such watering shall thoroughly saturate the <br />root ball to its full depth. After ninety day watering period plant <br />materials shall be watered and maintained as according to procedures <br />described for new plant materials, Section 02490. <br />0 <br />01 <br />MAINTENANCE <br />All relocated plant materials shall be maintained immediately after each <br />item is planted and continued until final inspection and acceptance. <br />All relocated plant materials shall be maintained in accordance to <br />procedures described in Section 02490. <br />END OF SECTION <br />09/03 02481 -8 <br />03- 4138.A -R <br />
