Furnish and install a complete underground system as herein specified and <br />shown on the drawings. <br />1.02 SERVICE AND METERING <br />A. Permanent electrical power will be provided by Florida Power & Light Company <br />at voltages indicated on the drawings. The CONTRACTOR shall furnish and <br />install two new metered services as per Florida Power & Light Company <br />' direction. <br />B. The CONTRACTOR shall furnish and install the service riser, secondary conduit <br />' and wire from the service point to the service entrance equipment. The <br />CONTRACTOR is responsible for confirming this distance with the power <br />company prior to bid time. The power company contact is Mr. Ellis Clenton, <br />phone (305) 770 -7934. <br />1.03 CODES, INSPECTION AND FEES <br />A. All material and installation shall be in accordance with the latest edition of the <br />1 National Electrical Code and all applicable national, local and state codes, laws <br />and ordinances. <br />B. Pay all fees required for permits and inspections including any charges <br />associated with the service modifications. <br />' 1.04 TESTS <br />A. Test all systems and repair or replace all defective work. Make all necessary <br />adjustments to the systems and instruct CITY's personnel in the proper <br />operation of the systems. <br />B. The following minimum tests and checks shall be made prior to the energizing <br />of electrical equipment. Test shall be by the CONTRACTOR and a certified <br />' test report shall be submitted providing all test results and stating that the <br />equipment meets and operates in accordance with the Manufacturer's and job <br />specifications, and that equipment and installation conforms to all applicable <br />Standards and Specifications: <br />1. Testing of protective relays for calibration and proper operation. <br />2. Test all 600 volt wire insulation with a megohm meter after installation. <br />Make tests at not less than 1000 volts.
