E. Product Data: Collect into a single submittal for each element of <br />construction or system. Includes printed information such as <br />manufacture's installation instructions, catalog cuts, standard color charts, <br />' roughing -in diagrams and templates, standard wiring diagrams and <br />performance curves. <br />' F. Samples: Full size, fully fabricated samples cured and finished as <br />specified and physically identical with the material or product proposed. <br />G. Submit shop drawings /product data for the following work: <br />1. Pipe Certifications <br />' 2. Ductile Iron Pipe and Fittings <br />3. Valves and Appurtenances <br />4. Manholes <br />5. Lift Stations <br />1.06 QUALITY CONTROL <br />' A. The Contractor shall provide inspections, tests and similar quality control <br />services, specified in individual Specification Sections and required by <br />governing authorities, except where they are specifically indicated to be <br />the Owner's responsibility, or are provided by another identified entity. <br />1. Costs for these services shall be included in the Contract Sum. <br />2. The Owner will engage and pay for the services of an independent <br />agency to perform inspections and tests specified as the Owner's <br />responsibility. <br />B. The Contractor is responsible for and shall pay costs of retesting when <br />required by Engineer or Owner and of additional testing needed or <br />required by the Contractor. <br />C. The Contractor shall pay costs for additional trips to the project by the <br />agency when scheduled times for tests and inspections are canceled and <br />agency is not notified sufficiently in advance of cancellation to avoid the <br />trip. <br />1.07 MATERIAL AND EQUIPMENT <br />' A. Substitutions: After Bidding period, up to 30 days after date of Notice to <br />Proceed, the Engineer will consider written requests from Contractor for <br />proposed substitutions of products. Subsequent requests will be <br />considered only in case of product unavailability or other condition beyond <br />control of the Contractor. Submit a separate request for each proposed <br />substitution; two (2) copies each on the Substitution Request (SR) <br />available from the Engineer. <br />05/04 01015 -3 03 -4465 <br />
