Unless otherwise noted on the Drawings, top of cabinets shall not <br />exceed 60 inches above grade, properly aligned and adequately <br />supported independently of the connecting raceways. <br /> <br />2. All wiring in panel boards shall be neatly formed, grouped, laced, <br />and identified to provide a neat and orderly appearance. A <br />typewritten directory card identifying all circuits shall be placed in <br />the cardholder inside the front cover. <br /> <br />2.05 UNDERGROUND SYSTEM <br /> <br />07/04 <br /> <br />A. Materials <br /> <br />1 . Ducts shall be polyvinyl chloride (PVC Schedule 40) installed on <br />clean fine sand. No rocks or debris shall be allowed as trench fill. <br /> <br />2. Cable racks, supports, pulling-in irons, and hardware shall be <br />galvanized steel manufactured by Cope or approved equal, or <br />provided as required. <br /> <br />3. Precast pull boxes shall be heavy duty type, designed for a Class <br />H20 wheel load. Precast pull boxes shall be as manufactured by <br />Brooks Products Co., or approved equal. <br /> <br />4. Handhole covers and frames shall be traffic rated, H20 class, <br />provided as required and grounded to the system ground. <br /> <br />B. Ducts shall be installed to drain away from panels; ducts between <br />pull boxes shall drain toward the pull box. Duct slopes shall not be less <br />than 3 inches per 100 feet. <br /> <br />C. Duct lines shall be laid in trenches on a clean backfill bedding. <br /> <br />D. The minimum cover for duct lines shall be as specified. <br /> <br />E. PVC duct terminations at pullboxes shall be with PVC and bells. <br /> <br />F. Where bends in ducts are required, long radius elbows, sweeps and <br />offsets shall be used. <br /> <br />1 .
