IH. Only the Engineer will utilize the color "red" in marking Shop Drawing submittals. <br />' I. Before final payment is made, the Contractor shall furnish to Engineer two (2) sets of <br />record shop drawings all clearly revised, complete and up to date showing the permanent <br />construction as actually made for all reinforcing and structural steel, miscellaneous metals, <br />1 <br />0 <br />1 <br />process and mechanical equipment, yard piping, electrical system, instrumentation system <br />and irrigation. <br />1.06 WORKING DRAWINGS <br />A. When used in the Contract Documents, the term "working drawings" shall be considered <br />to mean the Contractor's plans for temporary structures such as temporary bulkheads, <br />support of open cut excavation, support of utilities, ground water control systems, forming <br />and false -work; for underpinning; and for such other work as may be required for <br />construction, but does not become an integral part of the project. <br />B. Copies of working drawings as noted in subparagraph 1.06A above, shall be submitted to <br />the Engineer where required by the Contract Documents or requested by the Engineer, and <br />shall be submitted at least thirty (30) calendar days (unless otherwise specified by the <br />Engineer) in advance of their being required for work. <br />C. Working drawings shall be signed by a Registered Professional Engineer, currently <br />licensed to practice in the State of Florida and shall convey, or be accompanied by, <br />calculation or other sufficient information to completely explain the structure, machine, or <br />system described and its intended manner of use. Prior to commencing such work, <br />working drawings must have been reviewed without specific exceptions by the Engineer, <br />which review will be for general conformance and will not relieve the Contractor in any <br />way from his responsibility with regard to the fulfillment of the terms of the Contract. All <br />risks of error are assumed by the Contractor; the Owner and Engineer shall have no <br />responsibility therefore. <br />1.07 SAMPLES <br />A. The Contractor shall furnish, for the approval of the Engineer, samples required by the <br />Contract Documents or requested by the Engineer. Samples shall be delivered to the <br />Engineer as specified or directed. The Contractor shall prepay all shipping charges on <br />samples. Materials or equipment for which samples are required shall not be used in work <br />until approved by the Engineer. <br />B. Samples shall be of sufficient size and quantity to clearly illustrate: <br />1. Functional characteristics of the product, with integrally related parts and <br />attachment devices. <br />2.
