1 B. The Engineer will inspect the Work upon receipt of notice that the Work, including <br />inspection list items from earlier inspections, has been completed, except items whose <br />' completion has been delayed because of circumstances acceptable to the Engineer. <br />1. Upon completion of inspection, the Engineer will prepare a certificate of final <br />acceptance, or advise the Contractor of Work that is incomplete, or of obligations <br />that have not been fulfilled but are required for final acceptance. <br />2. If necessary, reinspection process will be repeated. <br />1.05 RECORD DOCUMENT SUBMITTALS <br />' A. Maintain at the site one complete set of record documents; protect from deterioration and <br />loss in a secure, fire- resistive location. <br />I 1. Provide access to record documents for the Engineer's reference during normal <br />working hours. <br />1 12/04 01700 -3 04 -4801 <br />2. Label each document "PROJECT RECORD" in 2 -inch high printed letters. <br />3. Do not use for construction purposes. <br />' <br />B. Record Drawings: Maintain a clean, undamaged set of blue or black line white - prints of <br />Contract Drawings and Shop Drawings. Mark the set to show the actual installation <br />where the installation varies substantially from the Work as originally shown. Mark <br />' <br />whichever drawing is most capable of showing conditions fully and accurately; where <br />Shop Drawings are used, record a cross - reference at the corresponding location on the <br />' <br />Contract Drawings. Give particular attention to concealed elements that would be <br />difficult to measure and record at a later date. <br />1. Mark record sets with red erasable pencil; use other colors to distinguish between <br />' <br />variations in separate categories of the Work. <br />2. Mark new information that was not shown on Contract Drawings or Shop <br />Drawings. <br />3. Note related Change Order numbers where applicable. <br />' <br />4. Organize record drawing sheets into manageable sets, bind with durable paper <br />cover sheets, and print suitable titles, dates and other identification on the cover <br />' <br />of each set. <br />The record drawings shall correctly and accurately show all changes from the Contract <br />Documents made during construction and shall reflect surveyed information, which shall <br />be verified and certified by an independent Professional Land Surveyor registered in the <br />State of Florida. The drawings shall be neat and legible. <br />' <br />a. Record Drawings Submittal Requirements: Record drawings to be submitted <br />shall consist of three sets of signed and sealed sets of prints. <br />1 12/04 01700 -3 04 -4801 <br />
