The approximately two -mile long multi - purpose public access <br />corridor runs between the sand dunes and the Oceanfront properties along <br />Miami Beach from Allison Park at 64th Street to the North Shore Open Space <br />Park at 79th Street. The NBRC will connect to planned greenways along <br />Indian Creek and promote alternative transportation via bicycling or walking. <br />The project offers unique opportunities to incorporate each of the following <br />development elements: <br />• Ecological Restoration <br />• Historical Preservation <br />• Alternative Transportation <br />• Park Design <br />• Business Development <br />• Public Safety <br />• Emergency Access <br />• Beach Amenities <br />EDAW was responsible for the public participation, needs assessment, and <br />conceptual design for Allison Park, North Shore Park, and the connecting <br />pathway. <br />EDAW INC DESIGN, PLANNING AND ENVIRONMENTS WORLDWIDE <br />
