EDAW is currently leading a multi- disciplinary team in <br />the development of the plan. <br />The project consist of four elements: <br />Vision: The plan incorporates public input and redevelopment considerations <br />into an integrated vision and strategy. The goal of the visioning effort is to <br />shape a set of future residential, commercial, institutional, transportation <br />0 and land uses that are well balanced, sustainable, and compatible with the <br />C].4 t r2 Pit A A It! community's desired character. <br />Redevelopment and Land Use Planning: The goal of the redevelopment <br />analysis is to identify assets that can be built upon to attract growth that <br />• Community visioning enhances the Davie Boulevard community. The analysis includes economic <br />• Landscape and streetscape and market trends in both the immediate study area and local contexts and <br />beautification plan will explore opportunities to promote beneficial development. <br />• Market Analysis The potential mechanisms include recommending revised land use regulations <br />• Transportation and Circulation reorienting development toward identified economic opportunities, <br />Analysis improvement of the corridor's image, and creation of a proper planning <br />and urban design concept that supports redevelopment and promotes the <br />community's vision. <br />Landscape and Streetscape: The project identifies landscape and streetscape <br />improvements that improve the pedestrian realm, lighting enhancements that <br />increase vehicular and pedestrian safety and security, improve area aesthetics, <br />and other gateway or signature features in the public right -of -way. <br />Implementation: The final element of the plan identifies strategies that will <br />outline the next steps for the community to turn their vision into reality, with <br />prioritized actions and accompanying information about who is responsible, <br />when the action should occur, order -of- magnitude cost (if applicable), source o <br />funding, and related information. <br />EDAW INC DESIGN, PLANNING AND ENVIRONMENTS WORLDWIDE <br />f <br />
