In addition, the network infrastructure built to create the coverage areas is also used for video surveillance in other real -time data applications. The Cisco 3200 router will be used in outdoor enclosures connected by integrated 802.11 links where video cameras and digital video recorders are installed, as well as cabinet environmental sensors connected to router. This is the beginning of a strategy to dramatically improve communications between agencies within the county to aid in homeland security for the county.
