B. Cable Markers (or tags) in Manholes and Handholes: Provide cable <br />markers or tabs for each cable or wire passing through or leaving <br />manholes or handholes and at each terminal. Tags shall be stainless <br />steel, bronze, lead strap, or copper strip approximately 1/1 6 inch thick or <br />hard plastic 1/8 inch thick suitable for immersion in salt water, and of <br />' sufficient length for imprinting the legend on one line using raised letters <br />not less than 1/4 inch in size, and shall be permanently marked or <br />stamped with the identification as indicated. Use of two color laminated <br />plastic is acceptable. Plastic markers shall be dark in color, and markings <br />shall be light in color to provide contrast so that identification can be easily <br />read. Fastening material shall be of a type that will not deteriorate when <br />exposed to water with a high saline content. <br />C. All supports, hangers, hardware, etc. used outdoors, shall be stainless <br />' steel and in corrosive atmosphere, or in hazardous areas shall be <br />nonferrous, corrosion resistant, or stainless steel. Supports shall be <br />selected to avoid galvanic reactions. Support devices shall be submitted <br />for approval. <br />D.
