SECTION 16500 <br />LUMINAIRES <br />PART 1 - GENERAL <br />1.01 SCOPE OF WORK <br />This Section includes the lighting luminiares, lamps, trim, ballasts, poles, bases, <br />accessories. <br />1.02 APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS <br />UL -57 - Standard of Electric Fixtures <br />FS -W -L -101 - Lamps, Incandescent <br />FS -W -L -116 - Lamps, Fluorescent <br />FS- W -13-30 - Ballasts <br />FS -W -F -414 - Fixtures, Fluorescent <br />IESNA - Illuminating Engineering Society of North America <br />Handbook, 9th Edition <br />1.03 QUALIFICATIONS <br />Photometric data of independent nationally recognized testing agencies will be <br />accepted. Photometric data of testing laboratories of luminaire manufacturers <br />may be accepted if certified. <br />1.04 SUBMITTALS <br />A. Submit Shop Drawings for each luminaire assembly consisting of catalog <br />cuts, photometric data, dimensions, ballast data, voltage, materials finish <br />and installation data. <br />B. Submittals shall be bound in a manual, indexed and identified in <br />accordance with schedules. <br />2.01 LUMINAIRES, GENERAL REQUIREMENTS <br />A. Luminaires shall be as indicated or specified. The details, shapes and <br />dimensions are approximate, and variations, when approved, may be <br />made in order to use stock luminaires. <br />B. Luminaires shall conform to U.L. publication #57, and shall be complete <br />with lamps and all necessary accessories and fittings. <br />07/06 16500 -1 06 -5564 <br />
