She has twenty three years of civil <br />engineering experience in the planning, design and construction of civil engineering projects. Her <br />responsibilities include management of projects; supervision of engineering staff, coordination with <br />subconsultants and clients; planning, design, bidding services and overseeing construction inspection and <br />administration services. Ms. Bell's general civil experience includes highway, storm drainage, water <br />distribution, sewage collection systems, culverts, minor structures and site development projects. Many <br />of the following projects include several different types of engineering, including planning, civil, <br />environmental, and transportation. This experience includes some of the following projects: <br />Grand Avenue Improvements - This project included the design for the reconstruction of approximately <br />3,200 LF of roadway from a 4 -lane undivided roadway to a 2 -lane divided roadway with the <br />purpose of providing traffic calming and improving the overall appearance of the area. <br />Village of Palmetto Bay- Project Manager responsible for a Road Maintenance Prioritization Study and <br />Sidewalk Maintenance Prioritization Inventory Study. A field inventory ofthe pavement condition <br />was conducted and an analysis matrix for pavement overlay was provided. The roads were <br />prioritized for asphalt overlay including a 7 -year work program. For efficiency, the sidewalk <br />inventory was conducted simultaneous to the pavement inventory. The sidewalk locations and the <br />identification of any "gaps" were catalogued. Both the pavement and sidewalk inventory were <br />inserted into a GIS Village plan identifying the pavement and sidewalk prioritization in various <br />colors. <br />Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) bicycle path study. CWI provided the data collection, <br />analysis and construction cost estimates for the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) bicycle <br />path study throughout Miami -Dade County. This study included data base management of various <br />links to the Miami -Dade System. <br />McMillan Park Improvements - Planning and civil engineering design for the grading and paving <br />improvements of the existing park next to the school.
