Contractor, name of responsible principal, address and telephone number <br /> <br />1.04 FORM OF SUBMITTALS <br /> <br />A. Prepare in duplicate packets <br /> <br />B. Format: <br /> <br />1. Size 8 1/2 inches x 11 inches, punch sheets for standard 3-post binder <br /> <br />2. Cover: Identify each packet with typed or printed title "WARRANTIES AND <br />BONDS". List: <br /> <br />a. Title of Project <br />b. Name of Contractor <br /> <br />C. Binders: Commercial quality, three-post binder, with durable and cleanable plastic <br />covers and maximum post width of 2 inches. <br /> <br />1.05 WARRANTY SUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS <br /> <br />A. For all major pieces of equipment, submit a one-year warranty from the equipment <br />manufacturer. The manufacturer's warranty period shall be concurrent with the <br />Contractor's for one (1) year commencing at the time of acceptance by the Owner <br />(see Section 01030). <br /> <br />B. The Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining certificates for equipment <br />warranty for all major equipment specified under division 7, 11, 13, 14, 15 and 16 <br />and which has a 1 HP motor or which lists for more than $1,000. The Engineer <br />reserves the right to request warranties for equipment not classified as major. The <br />Contractor shall still warrant equipment not considered to be "major" in the <br />Contractor's one-year warranty period even though certificates of warranty may not <br />be required. <br /> <br />C. In the event that the equipment manufacturer or supplier is unwilling to provide a <br />one-year warranty commencing at the time of Owner acceptance, the Contractor <br />shall obtain from the manufacturer a two (2) year warranty commencing at the time <br />of equipment delivery to the job site.
