Our experience has ranged from the development of traffic impact
studies, corridor planning, and access management, to conceptual engineering alternative
evaluations and roadway design projects which required right-of-way/easement acquisition,
street lighting, landscaping enhancements and traffic signalization improvements. Based on
today's opportunities to capture special funds from government entities, McMahon Associates
has also participated on projects by drafting and securing grants for local governmental bodies
for enhancement projects. These enhancement projects considered air quality improvement and
the efficient movement of people and goods along safer highways.

In the following pages, we have assembled a group of projects which demonstrate the
experience of our engineers and technicians on projects that best match the requirements of the
request for professional services as advertised by The City of Sunny Isles Beach. These projects
represent a balance of our traffic and design experience, which will be invaluable to the City, as
specific projects move from the traffic study stage into preparation of construction documents.
This expertise, coupled with our design team depth, will provide the comprehensive know-how
to execute the plan, while assisting the city in implementation of their plans/programs.

16th Street Basis of Design Report, City of Miami Beach, Miami-Dade County, FL
The City of Miami Beach initiated a study along 16th Street in Miami Beach from Washington
Avenue to Bay Road. The purpose of this report is to analyze the feasibility and
implementation of a pedestrian/bicycle friendly design along 16th Street. Phase I of this report
provides planning information, including a consensus conceptual corridor design and detailed
description of existing conditions on the corridor, such as roadway and traffic conditions, land
use, parking facilities and drainage. A project implementation plan, permitting process
schedule, implementation schedule and estimated construction costs are also included. Phase II
of this report provides the city with the necessary professional civil engineering and technical
services to produce a constructible set of design documents, inclusive of drawings and
specifications. In addition, McMahon will also assist the city with the contract bidding and
award, as well as the construction phase.

Traffic Engineering Consulting Services, City of Lauderhill, Lauderhill, FL
As Traffic Consultant to the City since 2000, McMahon Associates, Inc. has performed a number
of general traffic engineering services, ranging from site plan reviews, to traffic signal
modifications, to capital improvement program development. Currently, McMahon Associates,
Inc. is coordinating jointly with the Division of Broward County Parks & Recreation and
providing services for the evaluation of the traffic impacts associated with the proposed,
approximately 1l0-acre, Central County Regional Park, which is planned to open by 2007. The
traffic impacts were measured based on traffic operational conditions, safety issues and

~M~MA,!:!Qb!

Page 1 of4
