I. !o City of Sunny Isles Beach - Professional General EnQineerinQ Consultant RFQ No: 07-07-01 Proposal Executive Summary Water & Wastewater Desiqn - Our involvement with water/wastewater projects includes comprehensive water & sewer plans, potable water storage and distribution systems, reclaimed water distribution, sewage collection facilities, pump station design and rehabilitation, and pipeline rehabilitation using trench less technologies. We have provided design services for numerous projects replacing water and sewer lines in older neighborhoods as well as projects extending new services into existing neighborhoods on septic wells. Drainaqe/Stormwater Desiqn - Our Water Resources Department is one of our strongest sections. APCTE team engineers have experience in all aspects of surface water evaluation and design that extends from: Field Reviews, Data Gathering, Agency Coordination, Pipe Video Inspection, Wetland Delineation, Detention-Retention Pond Design, Hydraulic Modeling and Drainage Analysis to relieve street flooding. We are capable of preparing full-scale computer models utilizing state-of-art software. We have conducted investigations on water sheds ranging between several acres to several thousand square miles. These evaluations have included flood profile studies and stormwater management master plans. Our team has also demonstrated its capabilities to obtain environmental permits required for all drainage improvement projects; that effort includes, agency coordination, permit sketches and permit applications. We have developed excellent relationships with agencies such as: SFWMD, FDEP, USACOE and DERM. Our broad capabilities and experience in complex stormwater management system was demonstrated in the Miami Intermodal Center (MIC) Drainage Master Plan, where APCTE was responsible for the coordination with all permitting agencies as well as with four design consultants in the project for the development of one Drainage Report and obtaining one ERP for all roadway projects. Another good example of our drainage experience was the design of the SR-836 Stormwater Pumping Station located at the southeast infield area of the SR- 836/ NW 37 Ave Interchange, this project was geared to relieve street flooding for this neighborhood of the City of Miami. SR-836 Extension CEI Services - We believe the firm's successful history demonstrates our commitment to excellence in the performance of these services. We believe the firm's depth of experience and our construction engineering and inspection personnel will be invaluable in meeting and/or exceeding the expectations of the City. We are currently performing CEI services to different clients such as the City of Miami Beach (Lummus Neighborhood 10B in South Beach), FDOT (Biscayne Blvd. from NW 105th Street to NW 125th Street Project) and NW 25th Viaduct (from the Palmetto Expressway to the Miami International Airport Cargo Area), MDX (Extension of the SR-836/Dolphin Expressway from the Florida's Turnpike to SW 13th Ave.), Miami-Dade Public Works Department (Several Locations) and Miami- Dade County DERM (Several Locations). Electrical Desiqn - The design for lighting improvements for both major roadways and residential areas must be both aesthetically pleasing while providing an acceptable uniform lighting level that will ensure public safety. A&P's personnel have a significant level of experience in the area of lighting design. This includes municipal lighting projects such as those completed for the City of Miami Capital Improvement Program, which included the installation of a custom manufactured decorative pole mounted fixture along NW 14th Street from Le Jeune Road to Douglas Road. We have performed several lighting design projects in FDOT's roadways.
