<br />o <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />10 <br />I <br /> <br />ROLL-OFF HAULING <br />Two separate roll-off-related services might be requested by the Client. The services may require 10 and <br />seven 40 cubic yard roll-offs. The roll-off service shall utilize sufficient trucks to insure roll-offs are filled <br />repeatedly with minimum wait time. <br /> <br />RIVER AND CANAL DEBRIS REMOVAL <br /> <br />Water-based, three feet or less of water depth <br />Depending on the characteristics of the waterway, temporary bypass pumping, cofferdams, or other <br />means to control the flow of water may be utilized to enable operation in the waterway. <br /> <br />Dependent on the ability to control the flow of water, various methodologies would be utilized. These <br />methods could include a combination of the following: <br /> <br />· Hydraulic Long Reach excavators operated from shore <br />· Shallow draft work platforms with Hydraulic Excavators and Grapples <br />· Winch Truck <br />· 17-foot utility work boats with 25hp out-board motor. <br />· Cable Skidders or Tractor Dozers with Winches- laborers would be used to attach the cables to the <br />debris in the waterway, creek, or tributary. <br /> <br />The method(s) selected may vary within areas of a given site and reach. <br /> <br />Water-based, greater than three feet of water depth <br />The removal of vegetative, construction, and demolition debris, hazardous material, and recyclable <br />material in greater than three feet of water will be accomplished primarily with floating plants equipped <br />with spuds supporting hydraulic excavators with long booms equipped with material grapples and <br />materials barges, although a combination of approaches previously detailed will may be utilized. A f1exi- <br />barge shall be used along with a winch truck as well as a 17-foot utility work boat with 25hp on-board <br />motor. The previously discussed approaches are preferred; however, it is dependent on river, channel, or <br />harbor typical width and accessibility. <br /> <br />Sunken Vessel Removal <br />Ceres shall lease appropriate equipment and/or shall locate qualified subcontractors to remove sunken <br />vessels and dispose of them in an acceptable manner. These actions will be made following consultation <br />with the Client and will be subject to the Client's advance approval of Ceres' work plan to be developed <br />following contract award. <br /> <br />Equipment and Personnel <br />Ceres Environmental Services, Inc. project managers and field superintendents have more than 50 years <br />of combined experience in emergency response debris clean-up contracts. At least one ISA Certified <br />Arborist will be on the project at all times.
