<br />Land Based Transfer Crew (Typical Crew) <br />· Wheeled Loader <br />· 2-5 Trucks <br />· Heavy Equipment Operator Wheeled Loader <br />· Truck Drivers <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />Upon inspection of the site(s) and performance period requirements established by the Client, the number <br />of crews will be determined. Ceres Environmental Services, Inc. has the capacity to operate a minimum of <br />eight water-based crews each with their own land-based transfer crew component. <br /> <br />BEACH RES TORA TION <br />Ceres shall screen debris-laden sand from beach areas, and shall remove sand if acceptable adjacent <br />borrow areas exist, to replace sand lost to storm activity. If appropriate borrow areas do not exist, Ceres <br />shall transport Client-purchased sand at trucking prices consistent with existing proposal trucking prices. <br />Ceres shall use a trommel screen or equivalent onsite at the beach for screening, and shall use <br />appropriate dump trucks or off-road dump trucks to transport clean sand. Ceres shall use a long-boom <br />hydraulic excavator to excavate borrowed sand adjacent to the beach, and shall use a wheel loader to <br />place the sand after dumping. <br /> <br />RIVER AND CANAL SHORE LINE RES TORA TION <br />Ceres shall transport and place fill material purchased by the Client to river and canal shorelines. The <br />material shall be transported by on-road and off-road dump trucks and placed by wheel loaders. <br /> <br />Restoration <br /> <br />Restoration of the disturbed, staging, and access areas shall be accomplished using sod and/or seeding <br />and erosion control blankets on slopes steeper than 3 to 1. <br /> <br />METHODOLOGY FOR SPECIAL SERVICES <br />A detailed plan will be established by the Project Manger, Site Superintendent, and Owner upon award of 0 <br />a Task Order. <br /> <br />The Debris Removal Plan will cover the following: <br /> <br />· Scheduling <br />· Permits, Inspections, Licenses <br />· Community Relations <br />· Erosion Control/Storm water Management <br />· Site Specific Safety Plan <br />· Traffic Control <br />· Criteria for Removal <br />· Identify the obstructions to navigation and/or flow, blockages, vegetation and rubbish designated and <br />eligible for removal at the specific site. <br />· Equipment and Personnel Requirements <br />· Debris Removal Plan <br />· Debris Management and Disposal <br />· Hazardous Materials Removal and Disposal <br />· Restoration <br /> <br />DEBRIS REMOVAL <br />For operations involving floating plant removal methods, an access point or staging area shall be <br />established. To the maximum extent feasible, a single access point will be utilized to minimize potential <br />impact to the environment. Access Easements will be obtained from private property owners or through <br />public ROWs. <br /> <br />Upon delineation of the work area boundaries, the Work Barge with Hydraulic Excavator shall remove 0 <br />debris to the bottom of the channel/waterway/harbor.
