For each subcontract solicitation resulting in an award of more than $ 10,000.00, Ceres will retain <br />documentation to indicate: <br />. Whether small business concerns were solicited and if not, why not <br />. Whether small disadvantaged business concerns were solicited and if not, why not <br />. Whether women owned small business concerns were solicited and if not, why not <br />. The reason award was not made to a small business concern <br />. Records of outreach efforts to contact: <br />. Trade Associations <br />. Business Development Organizations <br />. Conferences and Trade Fairs <br />. Records of Internal Guidance <br />. Records of Subcontractors Award Data <br /> <br />3. Ceres Subcontractor Database Management <br /> <br />Ceres' existing subcontractor database has been developed through out-reach efforts including, but not <br />limited to: advertising; broadcast fax solicitations; networking with local and national organizations such as <br />the AGC, applicable trade unions, and Chambers of Commerce, etc. This database contains thousands of <br />subcontractors who have registered with us on-line at www.ceresenvironmental.com.This registration <br />process requires potential subcontractors to indicate their small business subcategory status. The <br />database is continually updated and used by Ceres in recruiting and hiring appropriate subcontractors to <br />meet the requirements of FAR 19.704(a) and 52.219-9(d), DFARS Subpart 219.5, 219.704(a)(1), 219.705 <br />and 252.219-7003 and meet specified goals for hiring SDBs, SBs, WOSBs, VOSBs, SDVOSBs, and <br />HUBZone subcontractors. <br /> <br />The Plan Administrator shall ensure that the subcontractor database modified for this project is <br />appropriate for the type of information required to be retained and suitable in terms of generating utilization <br />data and contract information for bid solicitations. Specific elements of the management of this system <br />include: <br /> <br />Addition and Deletion from Master List of Subcontractors including the following: <br />· Contact Person <br />· Company <br />· Address <br />· Telephone <br />· Fax if available <br />· Equipment Available <br />· Labor Available <br />· Time Needed to Mobilize <br />· Status, Category <br /> <br />Additional Requirements of Contractors when Added to Master List <br />. Annual business updates, faxed or mailed <br />. Request to be maintained on Ceres qualified subcontractor list <br />. Insurance Capability <br />. Bonding Capability <br />· Subcontract Package to Include Subcontract Forms and Standard Government Contract Clauses <br /> <br />Addition and Deletion of Resource Centers such as: <br /> <br />. Contractor Associations <br />.
