Drawings and general provisions of the Contract, including General and Supplementary <br />Conditions and other Division 1 Specification Sections, apply to this Section. <br /> <br />1.2 SUMMARY <br /> <br />A. This Section includes the following: <br /> <br />1. Demolition and removal of selected portions of building or structure. <br />2. Demolition and removal of selected site elements. <br />3. Salvage of existing items to be reused or recycled. <br /> <br />B. Related Sections include the following: <br /> <br />1. Division 1 Section "Summary" for use of premises, and Owner-occupancy requirements. <br />2. Division 1 Section "Photographic Documentation" for preconstruction photographs taken <br />before selective demolition operations. <br />3. Division 1 Section "Temporary Facilities and Controls" for temporary construction and <br />environmental-protection measures for selective demolition operations. <br />4. Division 1 Section "Construction Waste Management" for disposal of demolished <br />materials. <br />5. Division 1 Section "Cutting and Patching" for cutting and patching procedures. <br />6. Division 2 Section "Site Clearing" for site clearing and removal of above- and below- <br />grade improvements. <br /> <br />1.3 DEFINITIONS <br /> <br />A. Remove: Detach items from existing construction and legally dispose of them off-site, unless <br />indicated to be removed and salvaged or removed and reinstalled. <br /> <br />B. Remove and Salvage: Detach items from existing construction and deliver them to Owner, <br />ready for reuse. <br /> <br />C. Remove and Reinstall: Detach items from existing construction, prepare them for reuse, and <br />reinstall them where indicated. <br /> <br />D.
