This Section includes the following: <br /> <br />1. Architectural precast concrete cladding[ and load-hearing] units. <br /> <br />1.2 DEFINITION <br /> <br />A. Design Reference Sample: Sample of approved architectural precast concrete color, finish and <br />texture, preapproved by Architect. <br /> <br />1.3 PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS <br /> <br />A. Structural Performance: Provide architectural precast concrete units and connections capable of <br />withstanding the following design loads within limits and under conditions indicated: <br /> <br />I. Loads: As indicated. <br /> <br />1.4 SUBMITTALS <br /> <br />A. Product Data: For each type of product indicated. <br /> <br />B. LEED Submittal: <br /> <br />1. Product Data for Credit MR 4.1 [ and Credit MR 4.2]: For products having recycled <br />content, documentation indicating percentages by weight of postconsumer and <br />preconsumer recycled content. <br /> <br />a. Include statement indicating costs for each product having recycled content. <br /> <br />C. Design Mixtures: For each precast concrete mixture. Include compressive strength and water- <br />absorption tests. <br /> <br />D. Shop Drawings: Detail fabrication and installation of architectural precast concrete units. <br />Indicate locations, plans, elevations, dimensions, shapes, and cross sections of each unit. <br />Indicate joints, reveals, and extent and location of each surface fmish. Indicate details at <br />building comers. <br /> <br />1. Comprehensive engineering analysis [signed and sealed] [certified] by the qualified <br />professional engineer responsible for its preparation.
